Our Approach

01

Find the source

Testing, inspections, and moisture or mold source identification.

02

Create the plan

A clear protocol and scope of work based on documented findings.

03

Restore the environment

Remediation, sanitization, and air purification for lasting results.

We believe the first step is understanding what is happening inside the home or building — from visual inspections and moisture concerns to detailed testing and protocol guidance.

Cheryl Pittiglio

Client Care / Project Coordination / Air Purification Specialist

Cheryl helps guide clients through the process from the first phone call to the final steps of the project. With decades of experience in service-based business ownership and customer care, Cheryl understands how stressful mold, water damage, air quality concerns, and health-related indoor environmental issues can feel for families and property owners.

Her role includes client communication, education, scheduling support, project coordination, follow-up, and helping connect the right services to each client's situation.

Cheryl is also actively involved in Pure Air Michigan's air purification division. While she strongly believes in proper remediation, fixing the source of the problem, and sanitizing the environment, air purification has become one of her greatest passions.

Her goal is to help bring advanced air purification into more homes, businesses, and facilities throughout Michigan as an ongoing way to help maintain cleaner, healthier indoor air.

Cheryl works closely with clients to explain air purification options, including portable units, HVAC inline systems, and whole-building purification strategies. She especially enjoys helping families and business owners understand that air purification is not only about reacting to a problem, but also about creating a healthier indoor environment moving forward.

Cheryl's focus is making sure clients feel heard, informed, and supported throughout the process.

Cole Goins

Indoor Air Quality Specialist / Protocol Support

Cole is a key part of Pure Air Michigan's inspection, testing, assessment, and protocol side of the business. He works with homeowners, contractors, property owners, businesses, and insurance-related projects to evaluate indoor air quality concerns, identify possible mold and moisture sources, document findings, and help create clear plans for correction.

Cole is IICRC WRT Certified and trained in water damage restoration, structural drying, and industry-informed restoration practices. His training also includes NORMI mold and indoor environmental education, NORMI Pro Management, Level 4 Protocol training, and additional education related to sensitized individuals and complex indoor environmental projects.

Cole's role is especially important on projects where clients need testing, documentation, insurance support, protocol guidance, or a better understanding of what is happening inside the property.

Cole is also expanding Pure Air Michigan's protocol and scope-of-work support services. This includes helping homeowners, contractors, remediation companies, and insurance-related projects by outlining a practical plan of action based on observed conditions, testing results, moisture concerns, and industry-informed remediation steps.

A well-written protocol can help guide the project from inspection through remediation by clearly identifying affected areas, recommended containment, removal steps, cleaning expectations, air filtration needs, post-remediation verification considerations, and next steps.

Companies and property owners can rely on Cole's field experience and indoor environmental training to help create a clear, organized repair or remediation plan that supports communication between the client, contractor, remediation team, and insurance parties.

Cole brings a calm, professional, and detail-focused approach to each project.
